If his fuse is inline then that isn't going to work either

I'm not 100% sure you should do that.

    haha, i love the confidence.

Adamw (the other adam) Im not sure, but I can check. I no longer have the stock air intake so my entire passenger side engine bay is open...so thats where she will lie. (that would also lead to extending wires just FYI, cuz thats a long way to the batt)

My best friend just started an ar build and I'm trying to get him to help me start piecing one together too. Either that or gonna buy an already assembled one for like 7-900 and start taking it apart and customizing it.

Build your own. Cheaper and you get what you want from the start. Plus it's fun!

My thing with that is that I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, like I know the basics of it. Upper, lower, barrel, charge handle, something grouping, stock, handguard, and that's about it right? Plus I don't know good brands from bad.

Holy shit man. I forgot I wasn't allowed to toss around ideas, damn. I'm in college, I can't keep focus on one thing too long. Lol. I wanna do six trillion different things, but that sure as hell ain't gonna happen until I'm done with school. So for now I'll continue with my bouncing around between ideas.

ok. I guess my reaction was uncalled for. I apologize. I've been at the point of where i have been doing 3 or 4 things at a time and it gets overwhelming.

Building ARs is fun. But, let me warn you it's a freaking money pit and what you're going to wind up with is a really cool looking gun that rarely gets used, and ammo is too expensive to plink a lot. Fortunately for me, I realized this at the height of the post-Sandy Hook gun crazed America phase. ARs and .223 ammo were impossible to find so I sold both my ARs, 2500 rounds, and all my reloading equipment for a major profit......and I mean major. So if you buy one just hang on to it until there is another assault weapon crisis and cash that bitch in.

My Tacoma is already a really nice looking money pit that rarely gets used. Might as well get another really nice money pit that rarely gets used. Right?

If you want to build an AR, by all means, build the most badass blackgun that has ever been built and enjoy it.
