Good Eye! It's sturdy as all hell but the rear washers are hell to get in place and not slide out. You could lift the bike up with it though. I have no issue strapping something to it. Thought about getting the rotopax mount for spare fuel tank but think I will just go Acerbis down the road.

And by your SN I'm guessing you have an RR as well? My other bike is an 05 Black Tribal 600RR :) I had a Ducati 999 Biposto as well but traded it and some cash for a Centurion wake boat

Yeah my last dual sport had a rack and I miss having it. Plus I was also considering the rotopax for going exploring

I have an 07 600rr track bike, just got rid of my blade. I'm a mod over at dot net

I've heard about those issues with that one and the Flatland Racing one. Just need to throw in some rubber matting or something similar. Looks good though. I'm going to get the Moose skid plate since it's plastic. Expensive though...

This one was most flush fit of all the ones I have seen. I got a bunch of rubber/foam/felt tape from work in the anti rattle kits for luxury cars but I think some Dynamat Extreme would be best, mounted to the inside. It's such a great bike for errands and backroads, it makes me feel like a kid again, and remember I'm 6'3 and 235lbs, so I flog this thing non stop to get going. I could see the Yoshi getting me in hot water in late night driving, may put the silencer back in.

Also, I have like 3 sets of fox full riding gear, but got Bilt Ironworkers steel jeans and Hoodie and have been highly impressed by how comfortable they were for 70-80bux

Depends on your terrain. For somebody that rides mostly street and trails with only logs, the plastic skid would work amazing at sliding right over and not damaging my frame. A lot lighter too.

I guarantee the plastic skid would work great for you 99% of the time. It's not cheap plastic. It's similar to the UMHW skids you see people run on trucks.
    I see that working well.

I love my FMF, but it was nice being quiet down trails that may or may not allow dirt bikes...

I've got riding pants, a jersey to wear of my mesh armor, and a new jacket coming in.

If its rattling id just buy rubber washers.

Damn that 250 really has to be ran like a dog for your size, ha. We dont have decibel laws in ks or mo so no worries here!

They aren't as bad as you think haha trust me.

Just no top end on them, which I don't care about.

305BB, cams, CBR250 throttle body, and new clutch plates some day. Will be pretty fun then.

Would love to go that route. A CFR450M would be fucking amazing for me. But I think the new africa twin is my next bike. That is unles I buy my customers multistrada. They bought it, drive it once, and its been in a garage the whole time. It is a 2007 with 125 miles. Thinking of offering 4500 cash.

And if anyone wants a 600RR my sis is selling her modded 03 for 4k. yellow. No miles, like 3k in 12 years. She wont sell it to me though.

Yeah, I go back and forth on whether I want a bigger supermoto. Honestly I think my next bigger bike will be something different like the Africa Twin or FJ-09.
Haha probably only the clutch. Don't think the fiance will want me spending $900 on a big bore and cams....

Already want to spend $1,000 on suspension.
