We just started the paperwork process on a sweet new project. Putting a LS1 410 HP 400 ft/lb torque motor in a 1968 Toyota FJ40, paired with the 4L65E Transmission. Things going to absolutely rip. Won't see pics for a few weeks but stay tuned for that.

But we're doing away with all the parts that make the FJ40 so hard to work on, making it sweet.

That sounds scary as crap on that short of a wheel base. Stock axles too?

With the 40's youve got funky steering and c-clipped axles so it makes them less than ideal. We're thinking about sticking the ehole thing on an fj60 chassis, that solves wheelbase, steering, and axles all in one.

Hey guys, guess what, Brandon hooked me up with a pipe bender. Soooo. I now have a welder and a bender. And maybe someday a torch. Then I can really cook with fire.

I am stoked. Just wanted to share.

Already convinced my friend with the shitty ass Ranger (with a wildernest) that she needs some sliders. So she is going to let me practice on her truck :)

Brandon I'd probably replace those exhaust clamps and paint them real good. They rust really badly I've found.

Hey Ben does Alaska Spring have like a warranty on their alignments? Or do you guys at GTF (since it was through you guys technically)? Because my truck pulls hard right when I let go of the steering wheel still and it's pretty annoying, it drives straight if I hold the wheel straight but as soon as I let go... just wondering if you guys had something you could do about that without me having to cough up another $150, thanks! I know it's not you guys' fault, i'm just being picky lol, after having new UCAs and everything I just want it as near as possible to perfect. If not it's okay I'll live, just something that I noticed while driving

How about you don't let go of the wheel in a moving vehicle? I find that method to work best. I would never recommend doin the "Jesus take the wheel" method
