looks like they took styling queues from a cheese grater. Must be attempting to garner more female drivers with that girl motor. Now that there is a familiar look to an item used in the kitchen, wimmins will be buying Tacomas all the time now.

The seats will be made out of cooking apron patterns...to help the wimmins adjust to being outside of the kitchen.

The steering wheel will resemble a frying pan.

The girl motor is said to produce an exhaust fume that smells like chocolate chip cookies.

Well, the pictures above just sold me on it. DCSB OR, but needs to be silver. Could someone photo shop that for me? I really want to start drooling now.

I'm getting a 16. :luvya: to all the haters. Those damn plastic fenders though. It just makes the truck look cheap along with that plastic underbite.

I just cant get past that grill. I like the rest, but the most important part the front end is TERRIBLE, and no it wont grow on me, there are plenty of vehicles that still to this day I think are hideous looking, this will likely be one, fingers crossed for a 2020 refreshed face.

Styling is total meh but I still want one. Looks like a franken-truck. Half gen 2, half something else. Cab does not blend well with rest of sheet metal. Front end needs to be toned down about 20%. As someone once here said, the front end looks like a gen 2 got stung by a bee and swole up. Interior is a home run though.

I am not crazy about the front end either but certain angles I absolutely love the truck. With all the added changes it's a no brainer for me.

You don't think with a less flashy grille it could look better? Even throw on a brush guard? I can make ugly look pretty. Haven't you seen She's All That?

I feel like once the chrome is gone, it is a 100% improvement. I feel that way about most vehicles though. Specifically on the 2016 Tacoma though, it is exaggerated in size, so when you cover it in chrome, it makes it way worse. The Pro edition really doesn't look to bad. And as many others have said, throw a lift on there and I think the "swollen" effect will go away. For instance, the Tundra looks like the guy at the gym that doesn't do leg day. Once it is lifted with a little more meat under it though, its a really good looking truck.

Congrats to all who are going to get one. My critiques were intended to be light hearted. I really hoped that this 2016 Tacoma was a complete redesign. So I suppose I'm a little let down by that.

I think the Limited looks better each time I see it. No chrome haha.

it is supposedly easily removed, but I think the idea behind it is improved fuel economy.

I was referring to grill. Subtle chrome accents aren't bad. The cheese grater grill is.
