it was great, there was actually some bad storms there before i landed so it cooled things down a bit and made for some nice breezes. my friends who i stay with don't watch tv so we always sit out on their big porch every night, so relaxing.

My eventual plan is the Carolinas. I could do Florida but for the reptiles..hate snakes.

every time i go down there it's hard to come back. my friends always say "so when are you moving back?" before i leave haha. what kind of sucks is that my company is filling positions in that area, and a lot of my personal friends are our clients so it would make sense career wise. buuuuuuuut it would probably be another winter like the last one to get the man toy to move

So far-so good. Pretty quiet too. I think my KO's on my Taco make more noise.
I went with 275's rather than 285's so there wouldn't be an issue with rubbing as I didn't do a BMC.
Even with a lift,it could be hit or miss with 285's hitting depending on the vehicle.

Only if you promise to bring me :)

Other thing is retirement is closer in my house than most my age..I'm 41 to her just turned 54, so the cheaper cost of living there is another draw

well i'd def recommend SC near the NC border. taxes are much cheaper, living expenses are even less than NC, but you're only about 30 min away from uptown charlotte
also close to race tracks, mountains, offroad parks, etc. why do i live up here??????

Either way we'll have a good chunk of $$ from selling this house, ideally can pay cash for something. Just us 2 and the cats, so we don't need a bigger house

for me I need to be close to concert venues, since I go to so damn many shows..can't wait for Mayhem next weekend, 17th time seeing Slayer :)

Because it's F-in HOT down there! I like the 4 seasons. Virginia was beautiful but I'm not sure I'd go back. I'd rather be further north than I am now vs. south.

i don't know i loved it. the bike might have sat for 2 weeks tops in the winter. every once in a while you get 70 degree days in december and january. spring and fall are gorgeous. summer can be bad but your body adjusts. when i was down there a couple weeks ago it was 90+ every day, but humidity was down so it wasn't horrible

and i LOVE the lightning storms, and the cloud to cloud lightning

My body would adjust by melting, although the cloud to cloud lightning is cool

Yeah, I prefer the cooler weather. I can always add layers but there are only so many that I can take off

Cooler weather destroyed my bathroom plumbing and roof last winter, your argument is invalid haha..plus less layers means less laundry I gotta do every week
