I have these on my 4Runner. They came on it when I bought it with only 8k on them. The ride super smooth and quiet on the hwy. would never know they were at's

This is what I run. Had some vibrations till I had the toyota dealer do a road force balance. I've got about 30k miles on them at this point and they're probably just under half tread.

Love my General Tire AT2's. Cheaper than the BFG's

OP has a pre-runner and is asking about an AT and you suggest a MT?

If you want bang for the buck and do more road than off road then Cooper AT3, if you want bang for the buck and more aggressive off road looks with longevity get the General AT2. The new KO2's look nice but are expensive, they should be better than before but how much so? Tread appears very similar which before had known hydroplane issues.

Clearly you dont know that tire very well the M/T stand for Maximum Traction not Mud Terrain.

They are an All Terrain Tire/ with very aggressive tread

I wont run them but I like the look, I use my truck 90% on the highway so I like to keep an all terrain tire in a C rating if possible not much larger than stock.

I have run a Mud terrain and it was fine, noisy and they handled pretty well.

I thought you just said there is no such thing as a mud terrain.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
I have the Hankook Dynapros also. I know Pee had a bad experience, but my experience has been great. Easy to balance, very little road noise, I got 265/75/16s and I still get 22 mpg (mostly highway driving with little hills).

Oh there is.... And was definitely not a highway friendly tire by any means compared to all listed in this thread.
BFG Mud Terrain KM2 lasted 40k miles and had some meat left.

I know there is, just giving you shit. But various tire sites don't use a lot of consistency in categorizing them.

So if it looks like an M/T, sounds like an M/T and drives like an M/T then it isn't an M/T because the manufacturer changes the M from Mud to Maximum? Maximum traction in what? With those voids I bet it's more mud than concrete and gravel driveways. Don't let the name change fool you, with any of those hybrid tires they are more mud terrain then all terrain.

Cough cough, ahem; which is exactly what an all-terrain should not be...

So I see you type before you understand what you read again..

You are trying to quote me and make some sort of an All terrain point when I was clearly talking about a BFG MUD TERRAIN TIRE!!!

I will explain it so you can understand with big pictures cause words hurt your head..

    Mud tire.

Are those actually barbed wire graphics on the sidewalls and inside the tread?
Shouldnt' they have flat bills, too?
Which brings up the next sort of MT
    Mall Terrain.
