I am wondering which coil would he go to if he want to keep the shocks? There are no higher rated OMEs are there? Toytec Eibachs? Seems unlikely.

I've got a plate bumper, full skids, and a 10k winch on my 882s and don't want/need any more lift. You'll be just fine.

 

IMO, this is a bad way of looking at it. No relay on a high amp circuit means all the power must go through the switch that turns the lights on and off so the switch has to be way more robust. Also it means running large gauge wire and high amps into and back out of the cab. So unnecessary.

Have you been living under a rock? Aftermarket adjustable CO come in every imaginable combination. You could have purchased an A-CO that would have been perfect for the light weight front end you have had. Then as the truck evolves, you rebuild/replace the parts in the CO that wear and set up your A-CO for the heavier front end you are going to have.

An A-CO will always be a better option Mr. FanBoi.

And you're a tard. I have 600lb coils on Igorright now and it rides like a cadalac . They are ADJUSTABLE. would have been fine for 2-2.5" of lift. Plus...omg...only 20lbs total more lifting force then your legendary omes...

So you should have got saws foxes or kings or ads. I stand by that. Wouldnt be having this problem if you'd gone that route.

And you are a major tard for thinking not using a relay would save you running a shorter hot wire. All my relays have one hot wire and its short. Ground wire goes to switch in cab. Simple and saves wiring and is safest.

 

Just my .02 here because I was trying to determine which suspension wouldn't burst all the discs in my spine until such time as I can equip mine with CBI bumpers in the front and rear. Ended up going with the Toytec BOSS (600lb coils) over the ULK mainly because I believe Toytec did put some research into valving it specifically for the Taco and it's rebuildable. Initial lift was 3.5 inches over stock, I lowered the ride height to 2.25 inches over stock and couldn't be happier with the ride up front or in the rear (Boss shocks with Dakars), yet have plenty of headroom for the additional weight of bumpers and winch. I also agree that needs change over time and unfortunately my needs will never extend to remote resi icons/fox/kings in all four corners. Hope this information might be useful for somebody.

 

I am pretty pleased with me OME set up on the runner. Rides pretty smooth in town, and still works well offroad for how little i've actually pushed the runner this year.
