Okay, so my truck needs a bunch of work done, wondering if someone would be willing to lend a hand. I need to replace both front rotors and pads, and install new front and rear shocks as well as springs up front. Also will most likely have to install a new Passenger side front brake hose and calliper, as my right front rotor and pad have worn through, but the driver side still has life left. truck needs an oil change as well, but that i can do at home if you don’t want that done in your driveway. Also not opposed to doing all this in my driveway, its just not the nicest one to work in. Looking to do this over this upcoming Sunday/Monday, as i work Saturdays

On another note, anybody have a recommended alignment shop in the Odenton area? im gonna have to do an alignment after the new suspension goes on.

I need to change my rotors, pads, and brake fluid soon as well so I'd be happy to lend a hand and learn how to do all this. I'll have to see if I'm free on Sunday.

Cool, is shouldn’t be too bad considering the rotors just slide on on the Tacoma's, Would you be up for just the brakes or the full boat of stuff? And Now that i think about it, might be better to do this in my driveway, as I live 2 minutes away from an Advance auto parts store, and I have access to another vehicle to run and grab parts if we need them.

I'm down for everything, do you live near Joe or do you just work near him?

Yeah your work place is like 5min away from where Joe lives then. And if you are 40min south of there that would be about an hour drive from me (Balt County). If I am free on Sunday I will definitely help out.

I use these. I know everyone on TW says to use the t-slot nuts, but I've had pretty decent loads on these (I use them for tie down points) and have never had any problems.

Hey Matt, I currently live not even 5 minutes from your shop. Issue is I'm moving in two weeks to an hour from there. But mid august I'll have a free schedule and all the people can come over for brake jobs. It's a super easy, less than 2 hour job and I have everything you'll need to do it.

Ah, didnt realize you were up around this area. Unfortunately august is a bit to late, the passenger rotor has a 1.5" wide by .35" deep groove in it, as well as the outer edge of the rotor and brake pad being chewed up, causing the brake pad to get stuck in the groove and pull the truck to the right, so I have to do the Brakes ASAP. The suspension work I was gonna do since im taking that portion of the truck apart anyway, as well as my idiot light being on and telling me its time for an oil change.

Well shit. Don't brake? I'd help sooner but I'm booked until mid August.

Gaunt if you are planning on wheeling the truck go to Merchants, or NTB, I believe they also own Midas, I found out they do a subscription based service for alignments. I bought the 3 year plan and can go in any time and have them realign my truck. WELL worth it IMO if you plan on going over rocks or anything like that.

I agree. Did anyone else notice the riots in Baltimore? Then they wonder why homicides are up lol play stupid games win stupid prizes. How many citizens are out there taking back their neighborhoods? Props to the ONE Mom who smacked some sense into her son on national TV during the riots, where were the rest of the parents?
