Hey Bruce, @Bman4X5 are we going to need anything for this upcoming big bear trip? Recovery gear? Fuel? Tools? Just want to try and be prepared jic. I packing some food, drinks, and little things like that. But wasn't so sure about truck gear. Thanks

Good question, knowing me, I will show up with 2 Powerade bottles (White Cherry) and some trail mix...totally unprepared.

    Would love to know myself.

It never hurts to have recovery and tools. Fuel will not be a problem. You still need to post the location of the coffee place, and we need to ink a meet time. 7:30 too early?

I'll be working the 26th so I'm out for that one. I work every other Sunday. Hopefully the next one. Have fun, fellas! Probably a good call to move the date to the 26th. Big Bear is expecting some thunderstorms the 19th and with steep shelf cliffs that can make for a dangerous mess.

    Hey Guys
I could use a little help. I just got a pair of LED flush mounts for my rear bumper. I would like to tie them into the wiring for my back up lights so that they come on when I shift into reverse. I know it must be really simple, but I know literally nothing about electrics. Could any of you help a brother out?

I tied a set of rigids into my reverse lights back in the day lol. I actually still have the plug set up in the bumper. I can take some pictures when I get home tomorrow. All I did was sawder the wire into the reverse light, and then wrap it with some tape and they worked good.

So Bruce, looks like I just spliced into the power of the reverse lights. Not sure what brand light you have, but for the rigids I had, I bought just the connector from rigid, spliced that into the reverse lights power, then just attached a little connector to go under neath a bolt for the ground.. Probably sounds more difficult than it should be, but if you need help call or text me and I can maybe help later tomorrow or Sunday.
