The ruts on the east side of the dowling roundabouts really push my truck around, at first I thought there was something wrong with the truck or that the steering was loose. On a smooth road it goes nice and straight with no play. Not sure if it's just my tires or the revtek spacers.

Yep, that's another "fun" one. i would be curious to know how many accidents have happened coming off that exit.

Monstaliner. I think it's the best for roll on applications. The jeep forums rave about it.

I went a little further too.

Does anyone have a single skinny 33" R15 tire lying around? I need a spare that's closer than my current 225/75 r15 28" diameter tire lol.

I'll be in seward next weekend, see about any last minute reds or maybe go out on my grandpa's boat if I'm lucky.
I was thinking about going to Chitna but it's a bit of a drive on a time crunch.

Hey Ben, I might have a little project for you guys. I modified my snowmobile jack to incorporate a impact gun to lift and lower it. It blew the guts out of the jack and now I need to fix it. I was thinking about trying a King air strut instead of the screw jack? Just need to fab or extend the mounting point probably? It would be pretty cool if I could just use shop air to jack it up easily!

Don't know if 150psi will lift a sled but I could always use n2

I'm out of town for another week...

Sweet, that'd be really cool yeah! I'll pass it on to tom and dan and see what we can come up with.

They probably have expirence or know about the air shocks? Could you ask how much pressure they think it would take to lift a sled? Sled Probably weighs 500 lbs

My dad always makes me back pack my fish, now we use a little wagon thing. No wheeler for us. No where to put it.

Something like that you may be better served moving away from air, according to dan and tom. Air just gets tricky because it'll compress and unload at an unpredictable rate. Something like that the jack will potentially not do anything and then give you all your lift at once in a really sudden jerk, which would not only be terrifying with a 500 lb snowmachine on there, but also really terrifying haha! It's sort of like working with a spring, whereas oil or an ACME thread piece will be a constant up or down. We can for sure do whatever but that was their input on the subject, the acme thread would be substantially cheaper and work really well for that they think. That's over at Fire and fastener
