Went to the dealer today to inquire about getting a 2015 and started asking about 2016's, so the salesman offered to print off the info he had. I told him i wouldn't tell anyone, so i won't post pictures. But really, there's not a lot here anyway. No, still no hp, torque, or mpg's. I haven't officially heard some of the configurations and such on here and there's not really many changes. Looks like we will not get any double cabs with the OR package, or TRD Sport Access Cabs. And again, no DCSB with the auto trans. We will get the Access Cab TRD OR with a 6 speed manual though. It also appears that if you want a V6, 6 speed, you will be getting the TRD OR package, or a DCSB TRD Sport. No more SR5 6 speeds i guess.

New standard features for ALL 4x4 Tacomas include knee airbags, new multi info display with outside temp, door scuff plates (!!), fog lamps, locking tailgate, roof mounted fin antenna, low washer fluid warning, variable intermittent wipers, the hugely important go pro mount, and finally, heated mirrors.

All TRDs get LED DRLs, dual zone auto climate control, heated front sport seats and 7 inch audio display. No smart key/push botton start, crawl control, or mulit terrain select with MTs. The TRD Sport Upgrade gets you wireless charging, power moonroof, and blind spot BS with rear cross traffic alert. Only the limited will have the JBL audio...and extra chrome crap.

Other than that, all TRDs get the ugly chrome grill, SR5s get all black, Limited gets black with chrome surround. Off Roads will still have the rear diff lock and get black fender flares. And still no power seats, on a 2016, even on the Limited, which I'm guessing will be well over $40,000 Canadian.

Colours are the same as what has already been said. Alpine white, silver sky, MGM, black, barcelona red, and the three new colours, inferno, blazing blue and quicksand. Apparently Toyota thinks Canadians may get freaked out by the name "quicksand," so instead they've called it "beige" instead. Not all colours are available on all trims, and only TRD OR and TRD Sport DCSB in Inferno get the painted interior trim. I guess if you want the DCLB, you don't get the Inferno coloured interior trim. Oh well.

That's pretty much it. I should have just posted the damn sheets and saved the typing. Remember this is only for Canadian trucks, US will very in options and trim, same as the second gen.

You forgot to mention that TRD offered, TRD sport and limited get Navigation, auto dimming mirror with homelink garage opener. You can get the Smart key on the offered or TRD sport if you get the Automatic transmission. No smart key is offered with the manual transmission. Limiteds also get Chrome Running boards as part of the package as well as a Tonneau cover.

So no sunroof and JBL on a TRD O/R? Strange. Boggles me why US and Canadian options are different.

In Canada you can only get the JBL on the Limited edition.
I think that they don't offer the Sunroof on the Offroad because those vehicles are intended to go off road and having a solid roof will help increase the strength of the body. People who buy the limited or TRD Sport Tacomas are less likely to go off road so that is less of a concern.
Canada has always had different packaging then the USA.

Well that's crap. It's on the DB OR for the U.S. but seems like DCSB OR's would sell like crazy in Canada.

Some people at Toyota Canada disagree with you.
I think that the Double Cab Offroad would sell well in Canada.

Is Alpine White the same as Super White in the US or is it a new White from Toyota?

Yea, i bet they would sell lots of DCSBs too if they came with an AT. I have no idea why the DCSB has to be 6 MT only.

I also think that they would sell lots of Double Cab longbox manuals but Toyota doesn't seem to want to sell that configuration.

No DCSB auto? Wat? Or are you talking about the OR models? Or Canada only? The '15 DCSB SR5 auto very popular....

Just Canada. We could never buy a second gen DCSB with an AT either.

In Canada the Double Cab short box only comes with the manual transmission, while the Double Cab Long box only comes with the Automatic transmission. All the 2nd generations Tacomas are like that and same with the 3rd generation.

Yup, was hoping that would have changed but they keep on selling that way. I guess that they want to keep the number of configurations down. But still wish there was more choices.

I know a few people that had hoped for a DCSB A/T, but it looks like you'll still need to bring one up from the USA if you want to do that. :(
