Yeah it rubbed on the inner fender liner near the back when making sharp turns. It wasn't awful by no means. So I trimmed it up a bit and used a heat gun to reshape it. 15 minutes later no more rubbing!

Done with sound matting, cable layout. Ive wrapped the power and ground lines in sound matting material where they cross with signal lines. Im hoping the foil will act as shielding against magnetic interference where I dont have the choice of separating the wires.

Im using the armrest mounting bolt as the ground, any issue with this? Whats an acceptable resistance on the ground i should check for?

I was coming back from Riverside yesterday, smoke was everywhere coming from the mountains. Some dumb ass with a drone caused the copters and DC-10 fire plane to pull back for an hour, thats when the fire jumped the freeway and all the cars caught fire.

They are all coil overs. Even from the factory.

    Correct.

Here in tacomaworld though, coilovers are synonymous with adjustable coilovers such as kings/icon/fox. People on here don't call thier Toytec 5100/eibach combos and OME "coilovers" even though yes, they are coil over shock config.

I don't see how kings and the like are more expensive over time or require more maintenance.

How does a rebuild kit that cost less then 50 bucks more expensive the a whole new set of ome coioovers? Do that twice and your at the same cost of a high quality coil over. And the fact you can rebuild and replace anything in them is what is awesome.

Having been in a few ome lifted rig vs rigs with a nice co. Night and day difference. I'd never go back on either if my trucks and never will on any future rig. Not worth the money to get ome or 5100 or similar.

If you can rebuild them yourself they aren't.

Vast majority on here cant install a lift themselves, let alone rebuild a shock, so the rebuild process is obviously going to be much more expensive than $50 for them. After 2 or 3 rebuilds it might be a wash.

I wouldn't use a rubber bushing shock in the front for a lifted application no matter what color it was.
Coilover struts are not used on Tacos.

All you need is basic hand tools and maybe a vice. That's it.

But DSM only charges 100 a shock or so. Considering they usually last 30-60k I'll do that.

    Bingo!!

The rubber lower bushings never last

Well I left both of my front windows down and it rained, so I have water standing in the cupholders and the seats and carpet are soaked.

Don't feel bad.. I've had my tube doors on for a couple weeks.. it absolutely poured last Tuesday.. water ponded up in the floor. Carpet is dry but the gray insulation padding under it.. still soaked.
