Finally got my six shooters mounted. I couldn't be happier with my choice and the product quality as well. Thanks again Dustin for all your help and excellent advice! I'll try to get some better pics but the sun hasn't really made an appearance lately.

I'm very sorry for my late replies here everyone! I am always available via phone at the FN Wheels office : (951)735-1100 or you can call/text my cell with any questions or requests anytime: (714)390-9387.

You are too kind sir! I'm glad you like your wheels, and thank you again for your order! :) I'd love to see some photos of you truck!

That's very, very nice of you! Thank you very much! Your truck looks great as-is, but I do think our trucks look perfect with approximately 2" of lift, and they become a little more fun to drive too. :)

Back in stock as of this week! An LT245/75R17 (load range E) Toyo Open Country AT-II has a maximum recommended wheel width of 7.5". The narrowest Six Shooter is 8" wide, so unfortunately I cannot recommend the Six Shooters with your tire size.

If you were to switch over to the equivalent size of 265/70R17 the Six Shooters would be a perfect fit.

Yes, the spokes of the wheels do concave to the center. I can take some angled photos for you and post them.

There are options for retrofitting the flat TRD caps as well. PM me or call me and we can go over them. :)

    Thanks!

Looks really, really good! You are very welcome, and I really appreciate the compliment too! I am glad you like your new wheels!!!

315/70R17 is a little bit too wide for a 17x8" wheel. We will be re-releasing the 17x9" Six Shooters very soon, which would be plenty wide to accommodate a 315/70R17 tire. If you'd be interested in a set please let me know.

    :)

oooohhhhh, shiny. I think I want (17x8). PM sent Dustin.
What center cap comes with these, the standard black or painted to match the highlights?
Didn't see the answer in the previous posts, was it ever determined if the flat TRD cap would fit SixShooters and 4x4?

Just installed them today. Very happy with the decision. The graphite gray looks better in person. The pictures always make them look darker than they are in person. I went with 265/70/17s, BFG AT KO2s, load range C. I'm running stock suspension. I almost sissy'ed out and went with 265/65s... glad i went with the larger tire.

Thank you! Glad you like them. :) PM sent to you. The wheels come with black or gunmetal (to match the accents) center caps (your choice).

Looks great! Thanks again for your order. Excellent tire / size choice! This size definitely fills in the fender great and works well with the 17x8" / 0mm offset even on stock suspension.

Mounted to BFG KO2 275/70/17, have had to remove all the front mud flaps and will have to do some trimming when I have a chance to figure out where. Really wanted S/T Maxx tires but the 275 was on national backorder.

Thank you and Thank you CC. Lift numbers are in the link, one of the things I didn't accidentally delete editing the OP. It may have settled some since the measurements, still have a slight lean (need the rear spring spacer).

Can hardly wait for my Pelfreybilt bumper, that pic is of the good side to hide the deer damage on the driver side.

The tires suck gas like crazy (was 18-19, now 15-16), but I can't find anything I like of comparable size and a lighter load range to trade for. Would have to go to 265/70 in this tire to get LR C, and loose 10 lb per tire. I'm still undecided. The Tacoma really doesn't like pushing this tire at Interstate speeds though at lower speeds it doesn't seem to mind the weight. Was hoping the light weight of these wheels would offset the extra weight of the tire so mileage wouldn't take a big hit, but the tires weight is further out so the wheel weight evidently doesn't make much difference on mileage. I was looking at this wheel because of price, weight, and 0 offset, but the machined finish is what made my mind up. I wish I had room to store a second set so I could swap between street tires and off-road tires as needed.

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that my replies to this post have been a little slow as of late, but our phone lines and orders have been very busy, so I've been unable to post on the forum as regularly as I'd like. I should be back to posting regular updates now.

I've also updated the first post with our current inventory (every option of 17x8" Six Shooter is currently in stock). All orders generally ship the same day or within 24 hours directly from my shop/warehouse. Also, as has previously been stated, please call me or text me ANYTIME for an immediate (or nearly immediate) reply:

    1-951-735-1100 - Local / International
1-714-390-9387 - Cell (call or text)

    Thanks TacomaWorld!

Hi @jeremy1ns - Yes we have the matte black back in stock. :)

    Looks great! Thanks again!

I know what you mean. It's unfortunate that more tire manufacturers don't make 275/70R17 tires (it's sort of a "rare" size) and also unfortunate that we don't have P-Metric or Load Range C option in 275/70R17 like we do in 265/70R17. However, please keep in mind that there is about a 5% difference in overall diameter between your original tires (265/65R17) and the new tires (275/70R17). I'm not sure if you took this into account in your MPG calculations, but if not your MPG might actually about 16-17 vs. 18-19 (still a drop in fuel economy, but not quite as much).

I was looking at these wheels. Love the look and the light weight of them. Can I run these 17x8 wheels with 275/70r17 Cooper AT/3 wheels without rubbing? I am at 22.25 inches in front and 22.75 in back (hub to bottom of fender). Would I need more than my 2 inch lift? Thanks.

    Hi @AZ Tacoma ,

With your 2" lift, the 17x8" / +0mm offset Six Shooters and 275/70R17 tires you will likely have some minor rubbing on the small flaps on the bottom of your front fender liner, some very slight rubbing on your front mud flaps, and possibly (but probably not) a small amount of rubbing on the inside corner of your front over fenders (where the mud flaps mount).

It's just about impossible to get away from rubbing slightly with 275/70R17 or larger tires on our trucks, but the rubbing is extremely minimal and very easily remedied. The two small flaps at the bottom of the fender liner are held on by 10mm bolts and can be easily be removed. You won't miss them, and you won't even noticed they've been removed.

The rubbing (if the tire rubs at all) on the front mud flaps and inside corner of the front over fenders can be cured with some very minor trimming of the plastics.

The Cooper AT3 is not a particular aggressive tire, so I expect that your rubbing would be very minimal. Overall the width, offset and backspacing of the Six Shooter (8" wide, +0mm offset, 4.5" backspacing) is pretty much ideal for a 1.75" to 3.0" lifted Tacoma with 265/70R17, 275/70R17 or 285/70R17 tires.
