In Vegas. I got 50 drops while at the store on my shiny waxed clean truck. Friggin monsoon season. If it's gonna rain let it rain, not spit like on Arakkis. Any geeks out there know that planet?

Apparently the OP must be on the west side of Phoenix. Out here in the NW Chandler we have yet to see a drop of rain or a dust storm...

It's been thinking about dumping on us in Tucson for two days. I used the cloud cover and cooler weather to work on my sons taco and do some yard work. OK let it rain I am done.

Just be glad you don't live in a flash flood area...

Although i have to admit it was fun at times. Until you get stuck. The times I wished I had a 4x4 instead of prerunner, lol. I just moved away from this place, unfortunately.

Even though this happened vvv once, I still love the monsoons. And yes, I'm impatiently awaiting the official start. Because it doesn't start for me until we get blasted and flooded. Ha.

Haha. Yeah. It was great at times. Especially watching the neighbors' expressions as I drove down that dirt road that was flash flooding with my 33x12.5's making waves, all the while I have a huge ass smirk on my face as I wave at them driving by. Lol. Only got stuck that one time.. But yeah we'd get flooded in pretty good sometimes! I was swearing to everyone I was gonna go tubing down that sum bitch this season. Lmao. Also had a mudding area we called 'The Flats' where everyone would go to have fun. Still not too far from where I moved now. But before it was all literally my 'back yard' so to speak.

To get the best carwash, you need to send the wife out with a rag while it is raining. :)

Watch out for hail. Two of my coworkers had hail damage on their cars. One car looks like some one took a baseball bat to his hood. It's supposed to be a weak Monsoon this year for us, but I've never seen hail damage like that before here.
