Does anyone know how I could remove the floor mat fasteners on my 2013 tacoma? They are getting in the way of some aftermarket floor mats I purchased, so I would like to remove them. I want to remove them without damaging them so I could reinstall them if need be.

12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
They should just pop right out. They just snap in. Lift from the pivot end and pop out.

Just to clarify, the fasteners in my truck are not clips, they are the circular things that twist to lock the mats in to place.

Not sure if you can get those out without damage. You would need to look on the back side of the carpet to see how they are attached.

Best answer is maybe they are removable.

Check the install directions of the new Matts. I'm sure that they have run across this before. Or call them up.
