It's not called "beige" it's called Quicksand... I know I know, my point is that I'm sure it's Super White and not this "Alpine White" right?

I may have to go storm trooper...

None of those colors really do it for me. I was hoping for a spruce mica or a dark blue.

Okay, I used to have a Tacoma (2009 5 Lugger) and I had to get rid of it in 2012. At the time, I thought it was a good decision. But I miss it. I missed TW, and longed after almost every Taco on the road that I saw. Since then I have gotten married traveled a bit, and got a new job and laid off from that job.

I just got back to work, and I've been lurking on the forums for a couple of months. I love the 2nd gen, but good lord am I excited for this generation. I've been researching and looking for other cars (I am not in love with the one I have). Currently it doesnt make sense that I get a new car right now. But I think by the end of next year, I'm gonna be driving away in a 2016/2017 Alpine White/Black/Red Double Cab V6 OR Tacoma 4x4. I've always wanted a 4x4. I love the V6 (And I don't think the gas milage will be that bad) Don't know if long bed or short bed would be better for me.

    I can't fucking wait.

Sorry for the long post. Its just been a long time. I want the new Tacoma sooo bad.

I'm waiting for confirmation on the TRD PRO. Willing to wait for 2017 if need be.

I really want the TRD Sport DC. I just have not decided on the long vs. the short bed. I think the long is the only way to go. After having a super duty my whole driving life I can't imagine having just a 5' bed. I just want to maximize my fuel economy and don't know what the long bed will do to mpg's. For those of you who have a DCLB you can let me know.
I can get an f150 with equivilent or better fuel economy depending on the trim/mods I want for the Taco. EPAs numbers on the 16' will determine my final purchase decision I think.

    Stock and loving it
The EPA numbers were no different on the 15 between long and short bed

Either the Limited or the TRD Premium DCLB, if the pricing is real stupid then I will take another look at the 2016 Frontier or Canyon.

You cannot get the DCSB here in Canada.

If you get the Manual you get the DCSB if you get the Automatic you get the DCLB in Canada.

That's my opinion exactly... I wanted spruce mica or the dark blue as well for my soon to be pre ordered DCLBOR... but will have to settle with Super White. With that being said however, I'll be shooting for a mini Tundra TRD Pro in white, Plasti Dipping the emblems and I'll be using a Dark Chrome on that grill to soften it up some.

Toyota would have to pay me to own any 2016 Toyota truck or SUV. So fucking hideous

Why not the ecoboost? That's what I want. If Toyota would make trucks that didn't look like a shit I took yesterday and include turbo v6 I'd be all over it.

I'm looking at getting a DC 4x2 TRD Sport, with bed cover and premium package. Still undecided on colors but have narrowed down to 3.

That's interesting. Given that, is someone paying you to read 3gen forums?
