Went over Tincup pass from Tincup to St. Elmo this past weekend. I was a bit surprised at how rough the Tincup side was...

there's an optional line down tincup which can be a fun route...especially when it's wet and going up it

I get the feeling that your idea of fun would be my idea of a butt puckering so severe I could turn coal into diamonds.

I was hoping I could at least get to 100 posts before someone figured out it was all a ruse.

Looking to do argentine pass this weekend. Does that one need upgrades or can a stock 15 taco manage? Not looking to tear up my new truck. Just want to go poke around and get some great pics and have a relaxing day.
Or any other suggestions for a day trip?

Ran Moody Hill on the spur of the moment today and happened to be the same day my club (The Mountaineers) were doing the annual trail cleanup. So I joined them and picked up trash and got a few pics of the quarry. And a couple videos too.

    Videos will be up soon.

The scenery on that run (Redcone/Radical Hill) is absolutely breathtaking.
We wheeled under clouds, under sunny skies, in the clouds, above the clouds.
We saw goats and marmosets and ptarmigans.
SOB tops it off nicely but taking it all the way to georgia pass and back down to a 285 traffic jam made for a very long day.
If you just wanted to run the rocky hill on SOB you could do it quickly as it's just in the first 1/4 mile or so and turn around and come back down.

I have never been disappointed in that run though... for me, it pretty much defines Colorado wheeling.
