i was going to go with the traditional one, but then i stumbled across the extreme one, i think thats what im going with beins that it doesnt have that sound proofing material in it that gets all ate up and blown out over time

I have one on my '08. It's a single in/single out and not too loud in the cab. I've had the Flowmaster 10, straight pipes, and now the cherry bomb extreme. I would recommend it.

did you run a turn down or did you just keep the factory exhaust setup that comes out behind the rear wheel? and whats your opinion on the sound?

I added a turn down right before the rear axle. The sound is deep and loud, I like it but it's not for everybody.

There is nothing more irritating than the sound off a noisy V6 It's not a big block V8 and will never sound like one.

well im from south louisiana, and we are just about as backwoods as it gets. down here, we dont have all these high standards and there aint no one worried about how cool a V8 sounds flying down the pavement...its all about bustin ruts through mud holes and disturbing the peace while having a hell of a good time. preciate your 2 cents though podnah

It aint like I'm in the big city this isn't exactly the back woods unless you call cactus woods but we do our share of burm busting and hell raising and I'm sure my neck is just as red as yours but at 75 nearly deaf and half blind due to many years of loud pipes and big gun's [Hell I don't need no stinkin ear plugs or safety glasses] if I'm going loud it will be a big V twin.

    honestly keep it stock.

Outside of the VR6 in the VW's i have NEVER heard a good sounding v6.... and the v6's in our tacos are about the worst sounding ones out there. A big glass pack on our 1GR is gonna sound like ass and be super droning.

i think youd be surprised. i did it friday and couldnt be more pleased. it actually sounds half decent and theres no drone and it doesnt sound like im driving a rice cooker. the cherry bomb i installed is 6" long and its an offset in/offset out. even the guy i bought the echo tip from at the muffler shop said he was very surprised that it sounded the way it does.
id recommend it to anyone looking to get a decent sound out of theyre v6

I wouldn't mind hearing it if you could take a video or the like. Curious to what it sounds like.

i can make a video of it today when i get off of work. the problem is that every video ive ever seen of some ones exhaust sounded horrible because of the sound quality. so it may not do it justice, or it may sound like a pissed off weedeater but ill give it a shot so yall can see.
