Ah man...your bumper looks much better than mine....how many coats did you put on urs? I should have used the blade to cut off the edges before removing the tape? someone else suggested peeling the tape right after dipping, I imagine he is not waiting for the paint to dry and apply multiple coats....

In regards to the badges, I taped my side emblems, the emblems in the back didn't turn out great (bubbled, dripped) I only applied two coats and it was a pain to peel them off since the coat is very thin....I'd suggest use two separate cans one for the side and one for the back. In my case the emblems in the back were peeling off so I decided to remove them and lay them down on a cardboard and spray them, that turned out much better than taping and painting...good luck and please share pics when you do yours....

Definately cut the edges with a blade before removing tape!

And I cannot remove my emblems because some jackass used superglue to put them on (tried to remove v6 sr5) or they are just so old they bonded to the paint otherwise I would...

I want to remove them all but I have scratches from trying to buff out the v6 and sr5.:annoyed:

Let me know how it goes man! 05 is 10 years back so it might be the same deal. It would help a lot letting me know so I can confirm its not super glue!

I will when I get to it, lots of other stuff to do first unfortunately. Ucas, alignment, wiring, u joints. Then a family vacation, so I'm looking at August.

But I plan to do it in the sun so the glue is warm, then use a low heat gun and a strand from paracord

Your leafs cracked? Toyota most likely won't have a recall/replacement for your leafs until they stop doing the frames. Which is March 2016 I think...

I just got my frame replaced, so before that all my alignment cams on the LCA were frozen.

I just have to install my newly refurbished LRs ucas. Then get it all aligned again. Then reinstall the sway bar haha, not cool on the highway.

Haha not for me, it's part of a recall for the northeast mainly. Salt country. The recall goes on til March 2016 or something

And you fit 35s? Jeezuz, lol. Idk, you could replace them with aftermarket leafs and get some lift on that bitch. Replacing with OEM will have the same problem you have now in a matter of time and cost as much as or more than aftermarket

Don't look like 35s to me, but pictures are deceiving.

Just did the badges on my truck. I really need to redo the badges on the tailgate they look like s**t! But, it was my first time doing it so I guess it wasn't too bad. IMG_7935.jpgIMG_7936.jpg

I bought my truck leveled, so to me that is stock... but if you get down to the real thing, I have no idea because my shocks look like they were bought at walmart and the leafs are so mangled that the truck sits at 3 different positions depending on what side you look..

All i know is that I want to buy some new rear leafs for a reasonable price. Along with some Bilstein shocks

    Any suggestions on leafs?
