Heh, weld the shaft on? lol. Personally, I'm surprised it's not a screw-together piece. Maybe the design is like that to break away in an accident.
You should get a shaft that's sculpted like a human arm, with a shift knob in the shape of a hand giving a thumbs up. :D

Just because I've looked doesn't make me an expert! I'm the king of clutter and bringing unnecessary stuff. I'm trying to get better, but it's not a natural thing for me.
I use action packers for camp things which seem to be pretty good, but have always thought something like a mobile toolbox on wheels might be better. I have that exact one for paintball gear, and it's pretty handy. Not as big as an action packer, though, and definitely more costly, but there's something about wheels that are nice. A tall one with multiple bins might be nice for cooking gear, and then a small action packer for larger stuff like tarps and so on. Your big deal-breaker items are going to be your mess kit, stove, and the tent.
At the moment, I have one large size that holds the stove with two clear plastic totes for food and some loose items. The smaller size action packer holds tent ground tarp, mess kit, fire logs, TP, and some miscellaneous junk. My tent, folding table, and camp chair are all loose items.
If I was a super badass I could do stuff like this, but I'm really not that inventive. I just steal ideas :spy:

My bro and his wife got their cats from Salem Friends of Felines, which was a very nice clean place.

@Haslefre Is there a membership cost or something to that app? I remember something like that...

Not for up to 5 or 10 downloads. I've never spent a dime on it. Even the app was free.

Moved up near Everett. Actually Stanwood. I can't remember if my awning20150714_184255.jpg is the 2000 or 2500 series. 20150714_184255.jpg

Driving to a VA appointment, ran over a truck mudflap that had a bungee cord hook in it. Hook punctured my back tire and the mudflap flung around and smacked the side of my truck.
After putting the spare on, I realized that I need to get a full size spare.

Definitely get started on it. They seem to be getting better at getting stuff done, atleast here. What took a year and a half last time, only took 3 months this time.

I got out in 10'. I have a documented shift in my hearing. They had to change my baseline because of hearing loss.

Been awhile since I've posted on here! Last February I got the new BFG TA/KO 2's in a 285/75R16 and I love them! Such a smooth and good looking tire! Also added some LED spot lights up by the windshield with some homemade steel brackets. Anyone in the Willamette Valley who would like to help get a meet organized and planned? I would love to see some other Toyota's and talk trucks!
