    What about the rest...head unit and the other orange lights on the 09 dash.Too extensive or doable? I want to drive to Roseville so I can see Yosemite also on the way back.NEVER been.

    OEM HU can be done, i did the following (also notice the airbag lights that are blue)...

    climate controls cannot. reason being, the orange lighting is actually an orange plastic that cannot be changed. i will eventually be installing red LEDs so that area will be red, but you cannot change it to say blue or white.

    thing is if i do that, or have prerunnerseth do it. i want all amber lights gone. not just the dash and hu but still have the amber lights by the shifter, i want them all the same lol

    im sure if you talk to seth he can make something up for you. also, there is a post of a guy that used these LEDs and just make them on a board. also, you could always just get a light for the shifter....the climate control your screwed unless you want that red...

    damn that sucks, i probably wouldnt do this mod then, itd look weird having all white gauges then boom an amber climate control...sucks, id love to have a dif color

    dont not do this mod just because of this. this cluster mod is by far my favorite mod done to my truck. i get to admire it every day driving!!

    nope... there is a layer of clear plastic behind the orange on the inside, and the symbols are paint voids on the outside. one member a while ago removed the orange plastic and tried to repaint the OEM symbols...but he epic failz on that one!

    nope, thats just the lighting from the camera, the odo looks just the same as oem, but a different color! i've done over a handful in different colors and they all look good.
