It says engineered wood, but doesn't specify anything else. Reviewers are claiming 5+ years of unpainted exterior service with no signs of damage.

Railing looks amazing Oz very nice.

Anyone do there own home security setup?
Looking for just cameras. I don't want wireless to set them up around the outside of the house. I googled it for a bit but was lost pretty quickly.

My wireless is spotty as hell from the layout of the house so that's why I'm not bothering with it. I have a Honeywell thermostat that drops constantly even after swapping routers and wanted something Hassel free. Plus I've got a few hundred feet of cat6.

We had a guy break in a few years ago while we were home and my dog was after him before he set foot in the back door, and then last night something woke him and us up at 1am and he was at the front door ready to do dog stuff. The SO isn't sure if the cameras would help or just make her more paranoid so she's on the fence. Meanwhile I keep a majority of my tools in the truck all the time so I'd like to keep a little better eyes on that.

    Damnit man that sucks!!

I had something of the same happen a few years ago myself in Atl and my 100 lb German Shepard got ahold of his underarm area as he was coming through the window and it was on...

He then had the barrel of a shotgun buried in his throat till he was blue when the cops got there but not before I beat the shit out of him with butt of the gun.cops had to pull the guy out of the window.Cesar had three of teeth pulled out and stuck in the guys shoulder.

The cops asked why I didn't shoot him and I said it was more fun watching the dog make him scream like a bitch as he needed some reward for protecting the house....

That sucks. But this made me chuckle.

Hope you find something that works out for you.

Built a 90 degree fence clamping jig on a sheet of 3/4" plywood , covered it in wax paper and started laminating my top .

The corner is a herringbone , pieces are biscuited together

2 down , 4 more layers to go

The guy that broke in my house ran and ducked down in the neighbors backyard and replied when I asked wtf he was doing. He ran before the cops got there. The cop also asked why I didn't shoot him.

Got the top all laminated , excess glue removed and sanded top and bottom down to 100 grit , now I have to fit it to the walls then I can cut the ends to length

This thing is fucking heavy and difficult to move around on your own
