Installed the CB this morning. Antenna not tuned yet though.

I might get a chance to put on the new front springs and shocks tonight.

Nice on the CB and hopefully you can get the shocks in!

How does one actually tune a CB antenna? I've been looking at CB's since our last meet up to install on the tracker.

I'll have more to say on the antenna tuning once I figure it out myself, but the idea is to adjust the length precisely to optimize output in your setup. The Firestik I have is set up with a screw on the end you can turn with your hand. I think Kirk runs one too.

I have to cut my antenna. You need an SWR meter. I don't have mine tuned.

Do have your radio hooked up?

I'm going to borrow a SWR meter this weekend.

I do! And I use it! I haven't fried my radio yet. And the range is long enough for what I use it for. I'm happy to say the least!

My grand father gave me one that's in a box. Like a temporary one. I can lend it to someone without one for a trail run we go on

I actually looked at that, how much work do u suppose it'd be to modify/customize? I read a lot of guys weld added support to help reduce/eliminate bed spreading. The weld together kit is actually a really good deal!
