    I've heard small trout imitation rapalas work wonders in there. I need to drag the kayak up there one weekend and give it a try. Last time I floated it I did from the dam down to Curtis Switch which wound up being an all day endeavor.

    Absolutely. Rainbow or brown trout Rapalas are amazing. I've caught fish on size 11 jointed rapalas up here. It's awesome.

    Yea, it's a 7 mile float. Usually takes me 7-10 hours, depending on how hard I fish it. It's also 7 miles from Curtis Switch to Horseshoe Bend. That's been the more productive stretch lately.
