You know what else is noticeably brighter than stock? Sylvania silverstar ultra... And they cost me less than $60... And they're not incorrect equipment for the application

PeeRunner is speaking the truth. He is right. HID's are meant to function and run in housings designed to control the cut off beam of HID's. If you put them in halogen housings, not only is it illegal due to the reason stated above, but it is also illegal due to the fact that you are blinding people from the glare of an unfocused poorly controlled light output beam.

That is why they are shit in halogen housings.

If i was blinding people, dont u think at least one person would have hit their brights on me in the month that Ive had them? Not one person has done that so what you are saying about blinding people is false.

No HIDs in a halogen housing are pretty bad.

You are blinding people. Not everyone hits their highs or says something when you are blinding them. That is partially due to the fact that their eye sockets are recovering from the ricer blue light that just hit their eyes and they aren't worried about letting you know rather than trying to get away from your blinding, dangerous ass.

If I see a person with an HID kit on I out my projectors on high and turn my light bar and pods on just so that know that their cool HID kits are blinding other drivers

I flash my light bar everytime.

What I don't understand is, why smoked the lens when you have HIDs? Less effective compared to putting regular halogen bulbs with clear lens lol
