All you really need is a few spider weights, some 30 lb line, and preferably some J hooks and maaybeee some steel leaders, or just some strong leaders in general, and a good rod to cast it out there!

 

Is anyone considering driving down to the cut (end of the island) at all?

 

Gotcha. Maybe the ones who r gonna fish can stay to one side to stay away from ppl in the water, if there is anyone else that's gonna fish.

 

People from our group break off and drive to the cut every year. There's always a group that wants to drive out there. : )

got a 2nd gen long bed Leer 700 model tonneau cover. dark blue. good shape with a few chips around the edges(pics show all scratches) shocks are good. carpeted on the inside. missing one hing on the left back side about $40 online I think(added picture of hinge just know its the other side that is the one that's missing) *no key* but im sure you can get one made?

you mentioned "everyone is invited", does that include jeeps? One of my friends has a 4runner, but the other has a jeep. Is there a good possibility that he will get crap for joining?

 

I don't think he'll get crap, I'd just tell him to hang back on the cruise in or if we set up for pics, it is a "Toyota" meet. I'm ditching my friends that day lol or I'll tell them either jump in with me or show up later in the afternoon past the initial part.

Lol last year that ugly ass ice cream van cut in betweeen us too! I was third in line and he was ridin right behind me for about 15 minutes on the sand ruinin the cruise lol

 

I just thought it was a funny a huge ass van

Does anybody know anybody that is good with a video camera, mounted on a tripod, using zoom to capture video?

I would love to get a zoomed in shot of all of us on the bridge crossing over to SPI with the camera man/woman on the island side of the bridge.

I say zoomed in because I would like for the line of trucks to fill the screen as we go down the bridge.

I have a canon video camera but I want to be part of the convoy and not recording it.
