    Is anyone running it yet? I have 2 hours and 47 minutes remaining on my download. I got it for free... well the engineering software bundle I paid for as a freshman and am wondering if anyone has any feedback on it yet

    I bought the student version for $30, get Windows 7 Pro, legit deal, but i've ran into a ton of troubles with the download as has everyone else....

    Had to make a .iso and burn it to a image and then boot from that, once I've booted from the disc I get an error once it starts installing... huge head ache, I'm pretty pissed at MS for this shitty launch, they shoulda known better...

    They supposedly fixed all the issues with windows.

    They said that going from 2.0 to 2.1x and every new version all the way up to Vista.

    So... Now its fixed?

    If you're going with 4+ GB's of RAM, you need 64-bit. 32-bit will only recognize 3GB max of RAM.

    just finished the upgrade on my laptop. Stuck with 32bit here because of all the custom apps i have to run. My home machine has been running 64bit ultimate since feb. 8 gigs of ram on that bad boy.
