Drama in the AZ thread, *SURPRISE*

 

I will be almost as anxious hear about any fender interference issues. I can justify flattening the pinch weld an a bit of wheel well thumping, but I really would like to NOT chop up the fenders and flares. At least not for a few years

 

Perhaps, but all my wheels are 16 x 8.

 

Fun drive back the car is pretty mild with the boost turned down and the suspension in comfort. But yes 90 comes way to easy. The car revs a little more then the C6Z did at 80 but that to be expected since the Z had double over drive in 6th where as the GTR is just over drive.

Or marry a crazy women who loves cars and she will convince you to spend way too much on cool shit.

Well he said c6z so that could very well be a different car. I don't doubt that he knows his shit about cars. I've always just heard them as C5, C6 or C6 Z06.
There was a brand spankin new one parked at the Chinese buffet by my house. If I didn't question the owners judgment by his choice in car, I definitely did when he was eating at that place. I've never personally been a fan of the vette

 

Everyone has their own view. I love vettes. I think it stems from my unle only owning vettes his entire life and my father owning two, notably and most recent the C7 Stingray.

 

The new Vette's are sexy. First time in decades since I thought they looked good.

 

Exactly what my old man got.

 

My wife works for GM and we get to see the new stuff before the public. The Vette's are just getting better and better. Finally GM got it right.

The coolest feature about the new vette is how the air gets funnelled through the quarter panel and out the back for downforce on the rear tires. It seems that Chevy has taken some hints from other supercars. I'm just not sure if I'm ready to call it that.

Edit: this is my personal view. I know there are plenty that will disagree

 

I wouldn't call the Vette a supercar just yet.
