Got my Cooper ST Maxx tires in November. Just in time to have some fun in the snow. More snow pics to follow. Mine are 285/75R16s and I absolutely love em. Planning on upgrading to the STT Pro's when these run out.

Milage reports with 285/75/16s? I'm getting about 11mpg  but I live 6 miles up a mountain so anytime I want to go somewhere I have to factor that in, and a lot of roads in my town are uphill/downhill. I could be worse I guess

Mileage aint to bad with my 285's. Most of my driving is highway and no load, so I get upwards of 18 or so....

Damn, I need to start driving like a grandma because sadly most of my driving is in the city.

Are the 285's loud on pavement?

My MT Baja ATZ P3's howl like a scalded cat, so I'm thinking of ditching those and going to another tire.

The Maxxs are designed to be quiet. That should be relevant for every size. I have 255 with a good amount of miles on them and they're still quiet. I can get a sense of what could be when I get off the beach with 20psi back on pavement they have a hum to them, I fill them back up to 40psi and it goes away. My next tire when needed will be the Maxxs in 315 and I expect them to be just as quiet as the 255s.

No the 285 ST Maxx are extremely quiet! There's no howl or drone noise while driving with them, the only noise you'll hear is the wind passing over your tacoma. I had Nitto Trail Grapplers before and they were so loud

I just got these a couple weeks ago. They are 255/85r16. I haven't had enough time to really test them out but they have been great so far. Really quiet on pavement and great traction on dirt even without airing them down. IMAG0639.jpg IMAG0650.jpg

Anyone running these in 275/70/17? Interested to see how it looks. I'm in a toss up between 285/70/17, 275/70/17, and 255/80/17. Currently running 265/70/17 wranglers.
I don't mind a little rubbing or trimming, which I know would be necessary with any of these choices

Anybody got pics of the "E" load tires while airing down? The 255/85/r16 would be ideal. Thanks.
