I just got a new Ford F150 this week and it has something call " Easy Fuel". It's the coolest thing! I didn't even know about it until i had to fuel up! You just open up the fuel door and there's no fuel cap, just a hole ;). I'm a lazyass so this is right up my ally and i was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to apply this feature to our trucks. When i get some time i'm gonna take a good look at how it's all set up. I fuel up a lot and there are some days (especially after an 8 hr drive) where every little thing will set me off. I actually ripped the gas cap off of a company vehicle about a month ago .

Sounds weird.. How would you be able to do the gas cap test for emissions lol? Can you take a pic when you get a chance sounds cool.

not to many, love it the way it is
+ 1 ^ , think relaxing thoughts and just take deep breaths, preferably when you are not filling the tank, gas fumes could knock you out

I agree with tigerfan... 10 to 12 hour jaunts in my GMC weren't bad, but after 4 hours in my Taco I am ready to get out of that truck!

I have see it. looks like the fuel cap is just missing.
my biggest question is how do you lock it???
like the tacoma , there is no locking door. so i use a locking gas cap. But i dont believe you can put on any type of cap with this set up.

Popular Mechanics has reported that these new fuel....things....leak when cornering, and/or off roading.

I heard some ford dudes filed a lawsuit when they went to pork thier trucks they got hurt. Ford conceaded by eliminating the cap and making easy entry. Read the owners manual...says to bring Ky for added protection:D

I never really thought the cap was an issue. I guess more shit for Ford to fix.
