    @Nicko that transmission rebuild was cheap. wish i had a contact like that. Id rebuild it for the hell of it if it was that cheap.

    Yea that's pretty much what I said. I bought all the parts from them
    For 250 with the new torque converter and knew a guy that rebuilds
    Transmission for a living. He only charged me 300 in labor. Can't complain just wish it was a 4x4 but no big deal

    Sorry been running around like crazy and trying to wrench on the 4Runner. It has been taking longer than normal, I am used to having an extra set of hands. I am hoping I can start her up tomorrow and make sure everything is running right. I have to move in less than 2 weeks so need her running good.

    powdercoating is stronger, no?

    it always comes out crappy. too thick, sticky, or drippy.

    I think ill give it a try. what grit sand paper should I use to remove minor rust spots?
