Why so many cut tubes? Those tubes can be made whole, easily. If you gotta cut and sleeve that just adds weight with no strength gain.

This is my first time bending. I don't know the proper ways to determine how much to rotate and tube for a multi plane bend so I'm just eyeballing it. When I get it wrong I cut, sleeve, and rotate instead of just throwing it in the scrap pile and eyeballing another piece and hoping it comes out better.

Hung the fender and bedside to get a little teaser pic.

I originally wasn't going to do a b pillar bar but after talking to some friends and watching some vids of nasty rolls on terrain similar to what I wheel I opted to lose some style points in favor of extra strength. The b pillar bar ties into the roof, goes all the way across and back down the other side, essentially another main hoop right over my head.

Thanks fellas! I'm probably going to do two horizontal bars between the main hoop and the the b pillar with a slight bend in the upper one to compliment the quarter window line. I still have to do those, put two more tubes in the roof, and the cross-bracing in the hoop behind the cab then it's ready to pull and fully weld

I've been busting my ass on this thing for a while now so I took most of the weekend off but I did manage to finish the roof up today.

Now I'm going to do a horizontal bar from one side of the hoop to the other but I need it to be the height of my bed rails (which need to come up another ~2" in the above pic) and that does not fall in the center of my "x". Will I be losing any strength if I put the cross bar above the middle of the "x"?
