Since I drive like an old lady I didn't feel the need for expensive an expensive LED bar. I bought a Brite Box from Wheelers and installed just now. It allows me to run fogs, low beam, and high beam all at once. Plenty of light for moseying down a two track at night, easy, and affordable. I put Cali Raised LED pods in the rear bumper, so now I'm covered front and back. Seems like a reasonable alternative for folks like me who drive slow and are electrical work averse.

No pics, but having all three (lows, highs, fogs) on at the same time is plenty bright. I hope Rock Lobster's concern isn't justified. I'll test it tonight.

    Bruce,

I'm thinking of getting one for my Tacoma. These have been around for a while and nobody has ever said anything bad about them. Great way to increase light output without adding expensive off-road lights to the truck.

EDIT: I forgot to ask a question... How does it work? Does the box automatically turn on the low beams when high is activated?

When you turn on your headlights, the low beams are on. Switch to highs, and the lows stay on as well, push the fog switch, and now you have all three. Enough light for a pre-runner making a beer run on a desert two-track? No, but for us plodders it's plenty o' light. Install is simple. I say go for it.
