    Gah. My tailgate camera is shorting out, causing a fuse to burn out every time I shift from park to drive. That kills the a/c and turn signals. Have been advised that turn signals are optional anyway, but I refuse to drive in an Oklahoma summer without a/c if I can help it.

    But a new camera is like $650. Ouch. So as it stands now I have bypassed the camera and will actually have to use my mirrors for the time being. Considering trying a used camera. Anyone have a source for a used tailgate camera?

    How about rewiring the existing camera?

    A little lift and a little armor
    have you disconnected the camera to verify it's actually the issue? just take the plastic tailgate cover off (T25 it think) and unplug it. :notsure: If it actually is the camera, just leave it unplugged until you get a new one.
