Wow, I just noticed all his posts about building and selling retro/custom headlights have been deleted.

Fuessing this was the works of his own doing.
Even did a google search; custom headlights mjb477 :site tacomaworld.com and they show up there but are gone when clicked on

I noticed that when I looked him up. I thought it was strange he had no posts or threads selling or advertising custom headlight builds

With 9,000 followers he probably won't disappear. But I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped posting things on here

@chris4x4 Do you know why threads were deleted? Only mods can do that. Seems a little sketchy.

Here ya go Mjb477, lets see you delete these. Uploaded for toyotamaniacs pleasure. As youcan see I was concerned with product, je was o py concerned with getting pictures which when I sent one, he posted on his instagram as "another satisfied customer".

The remainder of the conversation. As you can see his tone changed once word of a dispute and knowledge of this thread's existence were realized.

As for the lense issue. At the time I had no clue of it. It wasn't until the hottest day of the year that it showed up and I ppsted about it. Where I thought I was accepting responsibility was if I broke something whem taking them alart or fixing them I would claim the wrong doing as my own. The lights work, the product though, or method ised to crack the assemblies, are lacking.

Apologies for the seemingly drunken posts. Fat thumbs on the phone.

I messaged the other recipient of low quality product about this thread if he wishes to share his story. I don't even know the whole story, just that he is having a similar issue and asked if it was toyotamaniacs (may google forever show this thread when you are searched).

    Hi everyone,
I also paid for the retrofit service through toyotamaniacs as 14 Tacoma did. Communication was great throughout the process and turnaround process was fast. However, once installed, my beam patter was about the same as OP. I've done retrofits myself in the past so I knew what the problem was. I contacted the seller, about the pattern, he said to adjust the 2 leveling screws on the headlight - fail, they are for horizontal and vertical adjustment. Many emails later, after linking this thread, I asked for a partial refund since the projectors were not adjusted while on the truck. He said adjusting while on the truck is impossible as he does not have the same truck. How do you claim to sell a lighting service when they are not even calibrated, sending the beam to oncoming traffic? I got $100 refund, figured that the best I could do without the hassle of a dispute and such. He did mention that he was no longer doing retrofit services, most likely because of this thread. I can answer any other questions you guys have.... stay away from this seller.

Tacoma Maniacs is still advertising retro fit services on Instagram under the username "Rogue_Retrofit." Guy named Alex even has his cell phone number listed for business. Mjb477 says his name is Michael, but Tacoma Maniacs is the same shared name. So I don't know what the relationship is.
