Put it in today. 2 1/2 hours. No gotchas. Me being slow and anal. Turned out perfect. Just need to align them when it gets dark however I suspect they are pretty close to where they are supposed to be now.

Thanks to PeeRunner for all his photos and tips last night. They all helped. Disassembly of the dash was as he said........a 5 or 10 minute, easy, ordeal.

Before anybody tells me the switch is upside down I tried it both ways and decided I liked it that way best and the light was more easily visible to me. In my mind it is indeed upside down but I prefer it this way.

I put it in the other way first and I looked at it and didn't like the facing left profile at all. So I flipped it. I even looked at other / older switches on the internet before I made my final determination. Like I said, I'm anal about stuff like that.

I installed mine that way also and just switched it today to "correct."

I'll see if I like it better. I didn't mind it the other way. Lol

I tell you I think obviously the light should point down but facing right. I really stressed over this before I installed it. Probably for 10 minutes.

Did you have to aim yours? It was way too bright to do it. I measured out 25 feet and got down to the ground and it seemed I was looking directly at the bright point on both sides so I think it is close. I figure I'll shine it against the garage door on Saturday morning before the sun comes up.

Even with my daytime test it seemed like it was pointing right at the ground at 25 feet as the manual said. I'll confirm it in the dark but I think I'm good. I figure since it was an OEM kit it was probably already aligned.

    Yep!

All OEM housings, relays, illuminated switch, wiring harnesses, T taps, zip ties. Everything.

They also have a PDF link there with install instructions (with pics) from the Toyota FSM.
