Damn that's great. You think you could do a side by side comparison of that vs a maglite in the same area? It'd really help show just how bright this is.

I would if I had a Maglite, but I don't, because they're overpriced, not very high quality, and not bright at all.

Somebody will eventually post a comparison pic between the two.

Subbed, but i was kinda hoping for a general purpose mount that would hold any flashlight. Maybe keep the same design but add some rubber tie downs kinda like the quick fist clamp things so people could use a bigger or smaller light? Id be in for sure for a cheaper mount only that i could throw my coleman light on or get the super crazy AK something light someone said above

I can see how a general mount for any light would be desirable, but I'm going for a precise fit.

All lights use different barrel lengths and diameters. This light will fit precisely and snugly into the mount.

first off nice mount, and OK flashlight.

But I want to make everyone aware there is a lot to know about 18650 especially in series,
and these ultrafire branded ones [which don't look legit to me.]

better check and double check and triple check the source of those 18650 batts.

there are more counterfeit ultrafires than real ones.

(yeah I am sorta into 18650 powered things
and have been for 5 years now, I have 54 flashlights that are powered by 18650, and about
    32 18650's from 3400mah to 1200mah, protected and unprotected)

    http://budgetlightforum.com/node/27603

Here is another thing. REAL ultrafires afaik
come individually wrapped in mylar and have blue wrapping.

I would just recommend here for you selling a high-power 18650 light,
that you use a verifiable source for the batteries, or supply AW, Callies Kustoms, EagleTac,
Zebralight, Fenix or other completely verifiable protected 18650 (and they will cost you about 11 bucks each)

all these brands use new Panasonic NCR18650 as the primary cell.

The reason is, the market for recycled FAKES is huge, and these are where Lithium fires come
from in most cases, worn, abused, recycled laptop batteries repurposed.

Anyone thinking of storing or charging an 18650 in the house or in the car be doubly aware that
fakes are everywhere, do your homework, and get a quality 4.2 volt lithium charger with proper cutoff.

18650 are not to be trifled with. When they go, they go down in flames, unexpectedly, and if installed
into a light like that and -in series like that- if just one of those batteries is bad, they can
simply outgas and explode and tear your leg apart or worse.
