    I followed the whole conversation in the CO BS thread.

    I think you made the right choice for how you use your truck, and the way it's built. Plus if you do end up getting a real DD then you will have no regrets.

    If it were me, I'd go balls-to-the-wall with the first mod.

    Do the 5-speed manual transmission mod.

    id have recommend 4.56s all day. But if your doing this VVVVV
    And its not a DD then 4.88s will be great on the trail.

    I just went though this. The obvious failure was on the driver side but once I opened up the passenger side, I found starting to leak as well.

    Plan on doing both sides.

    Good eye.
    You're right. I think it lost it's charge, but there is no sign of leaking or a bent shaft. It still dampens but there is a flat/dead spot in it with no resistance. I just pulled it off and tossed it in the back until tomorrow.
