Probably next Friday. Depending on when we make it to Clark fork. I know an extremely good breakfast place close to Clark fork and the best fish tacos you'll ever have are in sand point. Hopefully can go both places

OK - I got a little battery powered Zodi pump and shower head for like $40. It will be nice to wash off all the bug spray at the end of the day. Also got a camp lantern and some propane fittings for a stove/burner so I can use the fire pit and cook at the same time.

One thing I hate about truck camping vs backpacking is how much extra crap I bring. Just to easy to toss it in "just in case". But I'll have extra oil, wiper fluid, anti freeze if I remember to put it back, jumper cables, a small jump starter, wd40 and some spray lube for the uniball and dakars. Plus 10gal of gas and 10gal of water. O yeah spare air filter and oil filter too! Then Ill end up with enough food for two weeks!

Least after work I get to see my truck with the new tires! Thankfully my mom was super helpful....I forgot the lug nut "key" so she had to go to the dealership and get another one for me.

O and dont forget toilet paper!

Got the Cooper ST Maxx's on!

Rubbing wasnt to bad driving home. Just a bit of rubbing on the rear fender. Probably just cut that section off. Will definitely be bringing a hammer, snips, and the dremel along for any trail side trimming i find

and note to self....6x4 is 24...not 20. I was 4 lug nuts short lol. Luckily they had four to use till i get the right ones from Wheelers. Wont be here till after the trip but i can live with it!

What size are they? Truck looks so much better then it did in Tahuya now that you have more appropriate size tires for your build! I've been really happy with my Coopers STT's so far, I think you'll dig them. Good luck on the trimming/clearance.

285/75/16's. They look much better for sure. Would have done things a lot sooner but to much travel and then freeway miles so didnt want to put them on till this trip. Tahuya was a bit last minute or i would have done it for that trip.

i will miss the power lol. Definitely noticed it was a bit more sluggish.

I looked on Rock Auto and the 5 lug fenders w/out the flares/holes are only $50 a piece. Then I remembered I would want to paint them..

I still hit the upper portion of the flare after adding 1/2" spacers to my superbumps. Hitting the top is what caused me to eject the flare in the picture I posted. Although my rubbing in Tahuya was all on the back side of the flare even though I've cut a bunch, CMC, and pounded the pinch weld...

Wow, yeah Im going to have to cut a ton too. I know my friend cut the lower part of the fender lining completely out to clear his 285's, which im going to have to do too. Still need to CMC and beat the pinch weld. See how it is then and determine how much fender to cut.

Mine still rubs the liner also, but I'm good with that. The pinch weld is pounded smooth behind the plastic so it flexes in an just polishes plastic. I like keeping road grime, etc outta the fender as much as possible.

My CMC for 285 wasn't enough for the 34's. I order burr less tin snips but there still not here yet!

    That's an awfully small 34" tire if that's the case...my 295/70R17's measure at 33" x 11.5" under my truck weight at about 40 PSI(road pressure I run)
