    hey guys!

Just got my new bilstein 5100s installed at 2.5" on the front today. Haven't done the rear yet but can't say I don't like the look! Also just for the time being plasti dipped my wheels

Also novice question, do people usually adjust headlights after a lift? I've alreay had two people flash their high beams and one middle finger lol

    Before..

When you level it out, you won't be blinding people as badly. Lifting the front but not the rear has the same effect as having a heavy load will have on your headlights. They aim higher. You can lower the aim point if you keep it like that for a while, and raise it back up when you do the rear. Or, you can be "that guy" and keep them where they are and avoid the cops that are having a crappy shift and would pull out the book for the section that says the lights can't be aimed in a manner that shines the light in the eyes of oncoming drivers. CA vehicle code 24407 (I think).
I like the blacked out wheels.

What are you going with on the back for lift?

When you lift the front of the truck you will have to aim your headlights down a bit for obvious reasons.

I was thinking a 2" AAL because that seems to be a pretty popular option

So far just street driving and a few speed bumps I honestly can't tell a difference. The only major thing is 2.5" makes you feel alot higher off the ground which I wasnt expecting.

This is for a 2011 headlight assembly back but it still applies to the 12+

"A" is for Vertical adjustment which is all you should need to do. "B" is for horizontal adjustment. If for some reason you feel the need to do a horizontal adjustment there is a black plastic piece over the adjustment screw that you will need to remove. You don't have to put it back on if you don't want too. You "should" be able to adjust the vertical just by using your fingers. Mine was not tight enough to warrant the use of a screwdriver. Your results may vary.

OP apart from 5100's you left all other components stock? I want a small lift but don't need long travel stuff, as I will mostly be on road

Not a problem. I would suggest parking approx 30' away from a flat wall (garage door etc..) and marking where the light pattern is and lower it by a few inches. That should help with blinding people.

    Check out this video!

Plastidip is basically a rubber coating that comes in a spray paint can. It's awesome because if you don't like it when you're fonished you can literally peel it off and it's like it never happened. Also very durable.

They do a good job explaining the process. I literally did mine in about 2 hours.

I went to pep boys and grabbed 3 cans of it. I believe 7.99 a can. They sell it at Home Depot, ace, etc
