I was wrong on the year. It's 70s chevy caliper, and all you need to know is your tube diameter. Kit supports a 12.5" disc. Easy peasy. Even has the Napa caliper part numbers on the page.

I just helped a fab shop link toytec's 4Runner here in Denver. Just to get my hands dirty and learn. It really made me want to link the taco. :D

Hi guys, I thought I'd post up and say I'll be lurking here from now on. I picked up a 2006 LT 4x4 access cab in Santa Barbara. It has its issues, but shouldn't be anything that can't be dealt with.

Thanks. The hoop has no purpose, but the "grill skid" is actually a light cover for extra LEDs.

Quick question should I go with 2.0 or 2.5 air bumps?

Yea, on my truck and on my tool box. I have brand new 4 tube 16" Icon 3.0 Zetas I've been toying with parting ways with, really don't feel like reworking my shock mounts.

    Ditto

    Front or rear?
    Leafs or links?
    How long of stroke?
    Have bypasses or not?
How large is the bump zone if you do have bypasses?

    Lol.... umm well...

I kinda just have a basic LT kit... +2 with 2.5 x 8 Kings "custom valved for tacomas running the TC kit" I bought it for crawling and just ordered wheelers superbumps :anonymous: I feel like it's a sin to not run air bumps on a LT setup. I know they'll be fine for now but I'm thinking for the future as I probably will try to push it harder and harder...

Front and rear. Front coilovers only. No bypass yet.
    Leafs.
Stroke. I don't know. Advice needed.
    16" 3.0 Triple bypass
    And again I don't know.

I still rock poly bumps up front. The +2 kit doesn't even have strike plates on the lower to run a hydro bump does it?

I'm sure I'll get flack for saying this, but I'm personally not a fan of hydro bumps off the lower. The motion ratio I've seen from bumping off the lower is at best 2:1...closer to 3:1 on most the tacomas I've seen. Meaning for every 1" of bump travel, you'd have 3" of suspension travel. If you're running 2" stroke bump, means you're controlling the last 6" of suspension travel. Hardly a bump stop at that point...closer to a secondary shock.
