I don't think you'll catch flack for that. It makes perfect sense and seems a bypass is the better fit

What is a gold valve on a bypass tube? Is it a bi-directional valve, for rebound and com. ?

Oh I'm sure I will. Some person will come in and get all offended for giving my opinion....saying that they do it and it works great and blah blah blah. Typical TW short bus show.

Gold tube is for Fox only. They flow both directions. Not a fan personally. It's basically just a bleed tube.

So Jason should I just run poly bumps off the front? And only run the hydro on the rear? I have TC boxed lowers if that matters.

You do!? Well that makes me feel a little better since I've watched you launch your taco like 10 feet away from me lol.

Regarding the strike plates, I don't think so? Unless it's the part with "TC" cutout. Sorry LT newb

What you're saying makes sense though, not really worth running them in the front cuz you'd be constantly compressing them. Not something I'd want for a 90% crawling scenario.
Dumbass question about bypasses, do most people run a digressive bypass? I don't see how another progressive shock would make much of a difference...

I saw a set for sale and was curious? If a person knew what they were doing valving wise for their truck could they benefit from them, Say compared to a three tube or something? Obviously id probably be wasting my time as I didn't even look know what they were. I read they help in real choppy terrain. Maybe on a track where theres lots of ruts and such

You can swap out the guts and turn it into a regular bypass tube.

Anyone have ideas or pics of reinforced OE second gen LCA mounts ? I've already got TC cam tab gussets ready to go , I've seen people add a weld bead around the inside edge of the mount...good idea ? Any other gussets a good idea for the LCA mounts ?

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Been working out re gearing options for when the new kit is installed. So have the gears pretty much figured out but since the rear is LSD I'm going back and forth on adding a locker. Haven't really needed one yet with being 4x4 but cost wise this is the time to do it. I've never been stuck in mex or out in the desert with a few exceptions of driver error (silt in mex) just curious on the thought of the experts if it's worth the additional cost to lock the rear.

It's nice to have but not a necessity with 4x4. (Based on Heep experience and not a lot of taco experience)

One more question, do you know the size bolt TC uses for the top shackle mount?
bought a pair without hardware and placing an order on ruffstuff right now.
