Oh man that looks SO GOOD. Of course you had to go out and buy my favorite wheels and get my ideal tire size and put them on the same color truck as mine. You're driving me crazy with envy!

Thanks man! 3.5 BS looks great, the stance is perfect! These tall and skinnys look good, and arent as "skinny" as i thought they would be.

I was going to wait on rims and tires but CL deals come up then make me spend money haha.

Yeah, looking at your head-on picture, they really don't look any skinnier than what I have now. I think it is the aggressive tread that tricks your eyes. Where do you rub?

Just driving, nowhere yet. Its really close (about half a cm away) to the front mudflaps at full lock left/right. I know im going to be cutting it close on the front of the rear fenders...

Going offroad? Ill find out and report back haha.

Kinda can see how far they stick out.

Nice. I don't have front mud flaps so that won't be a problem for me. My wheels are 4.5" BS, so does that mean my tires are closer or farther away from the UCA?

4.5 BS is closer. 3.5 BS is pushed out more.

Okay, thanks! That clears up so much in my mind. I may have the opportunity to get some 285/75/16's in December for less than the 255's would be, so I may end up getting those. I want to get up to a 33" for the least amount of money possible. Ideally, I want the 255's, but if a smoking deal on 285's comes around, I won't pass it up.

Yeah! The rims sticking out just another inch really improved the look.

Just keep on browsing CL and im sure something will pop up. These were on CL and probably have about 90% tread left, basically look new and got them for $475.

I also think the "skinny" makes it not rub as much.. yet

Dang, you found those on CL? I never see 255/85's for sale on CL here. I look all the time! There is a TW guy in SC that told me he may want to upgrade to a 35" in December and he said I could get his 285's. They are pretty new. We'll see what happens. That's still several months away and a lot can change between now and then.

    Thanks man!

    @MatthewMay1

The rubbing isn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. Only rubbing on the front rear fender like i thought, and slightly on the front mud flap.

Honesty not sure... I have some sliders ready to go but just no motivation to get them welded on.

Currently the sliders I have are for sale but if nobody buys them I'll probably end up putting them on.

Thanks! And I just posted in the AZ classified thread. Not trying really hard to sell it as I still kind of want to put it on but I would like the money haha.

I don't know if selling your sliders is the best route to go. If you're going to wheels the truck then sliders are one of the few necessities that you'll absolutely need... unless you're fine losing sheet metal. :p If you do end up selling them, then what? Bolt on Sliders? :spy:
