Yeah I thought the same thing but a lot of people like skinny tires. My 285 mtr's measured just a hair under 33" with 35psi in them

I was trimming the plastic fender liner little by little but last night I just ripped them out completely. I have two fender flares with a couple broken clips. Should last for this trip.

I was wondering on the plastic inner part. The drivers side would be easy enough to just take off and I don't imagine any issues. The passenger side has the intake so I'd be worried about that.

If you need some replacement clips for the fender let me know and I can bring some. I have enough for mine and another set

If you don't have a snorkel you should form some form of liner around the intake or else you'll get mud, water, and all sorts of debris in there

Unfortunately the fender flare clips isn't what failed upon impact, it was the flare mounts themselves. Plastic epoxy is holding it together now...Flare repair.jpg

Can you leave any earlier than noon? Brain and I are gonna bounce around 10am. Jerrad, it depends on how early he ca get his swingout latch. It'd be nice to have other people to talk on the radio for the 8 hour drive haha.

Alright well play it by ear tomorrow, we really have no rush to get there. I just gotta throw my tent on and pick up ice n gas.

Figured we don't need fire wood since we have 2 propane fire pits.

Yeah i was going to bring some but decided against the firewood. Two propane ones should be plenty. I have 6 of the small propane bottles too.

So I talked to a lady at the Elk City ranger station this afternoon. She said we can pretty much camp anywhere, but there is a nice park with showers by the fire station in town, so we'll probably be there. Not sure if Ill have cell service but hopefully will
