OH MAN! Well I got some problems...I have had my 06 Tacoma of about 7 1/2 months and well...its ticking....and i know that toyotas are known for that quiet ticking sound...BUT it is getting worse...I read somewhere about a recall on the L&R manifolds...if anyone can find it i would be VERY THANKFULL..

ALSO...my rear slide glass weather striping is completly ripped in about 3 spots....and i have only opened it 3 or 4 times....

And...every 15-20 starts....i try to start it and it turns over and trys to start but will not I have to try agian for it too...:confused

My Back JBL 8" sub enclosure is rattling like crazy!...im getting unhappy!!

I love toyota! i had a 03 ext. cab. for a year till the new model..

so...Saturday its going to the service dept. and im getting awnsers..:(

toyota has a tsb about the "ticking", and they are replacing the manifolds, so either call toyota, or ask your service manager to check it out with your vin# and see if your truck is vin compatible! the dealer should take care of the rest of it!! side note.......if they arent gonna fix your ticking problem....start using synthetic oil,as this has cured the problem for some people. hope this helps!!
