    Where are you going? Wills Creek? Where / when you meeting?

    I work nights the day before and that day, but depending on where / when I may come. Hell, if nothing else, maybe meet you guys for lunch.

    If you do Wills Creek, there is enough stuff there to keep you interested for half a day. Check out the gravel roads on the east side of 83 also, going over into Linton Twp / Guernsey County. Nothing really technical but some really pretty vistas and fun to slide around out there. You can also camp and fish anywhere in Wills Creek so if that interests you bring your gear.

    I will tell you Wills Creek has a few sections that I think are impassable in a truck without lockers, probably a winch, and a buddy. There is a power line trail that essentially runs the entire length of Wills Creek east - west, and there are a few sections on it that are extremely muddy and deep, so use caution and don't just go blasting through the puddles. You can get away with that in most cases but every so often you will find a real mother fucker of a hole and you'll be halfway up the doors. There is also one section that narrows to a quad width trail and goes up and over a hill at the western portion of the area. I can't describe it really well... but the trail goes from being a dirt road to an overgrown trail and there is a large turnaround at that point with a fire pit in the middle of the turn around and some old couch lying there. At that point (going west) you do not want to keep going up the trail. The hill gets very rutted and narrow and there are random pieces of rebar poking up out of the ground. It's technical on a bike so I know it will fuck up a truck.

    There is also an "in" to the area off of Edgemoor Rd, on the south side off of 83. Turn west on Edgemoor and when the road makes a hard jog left there is a dirt road that basically goes straight / slightly to the right / up a small hill and then curves out of sight to the right. It is unmarked. That gets you in the east side of Wills Creek and the the power line trail. The really muddy spots are to the west of that, after you pass the small hill climbs on either side of the power line trail and start going down a hill. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get in there.

    I may be in...I'll run in by my wife but I think she already has commitments with some of her friends that day, so my chances of getting out are pretty good! What time do you think you'd start?

    We really haven't firmed up an exact plan at this point, but the deciding factor will likely be whatever accommodates the greatest number of you lot to join us! I'll PM my number to anyone that expresses interest in joining me and @smithr1730 on our outing.

    Alright guys so let's throw some numbers at the board and see what sticks:

    SUNNNDAYY.. ..SUUUUNNNNNNDAYY.. ..SUNDAYYYYY.. ...SUUUNDDAAAAAY!!!!!!
    ..is the day after Saturday, and Saturday is when we are meeting.
    So. Don't come on Sunday because we won't be there.

    What:
    Myself and Rob will be heading out to do some light wheeling and splashing through mud puddles.
    All are welcome and encouraged to join. Bring your kids, don't bring your kids, bring your Gfs/Bfs/Wives/Mistresses.. just don't bring your insurance agent!

    Although some of us have dirt bikes and ATVs let's leave them at home this time and keep the day about trucks and possibly even a brand new sport-utility vehicle depending on attendance!!:thumbsup:

    Feel free to bring fishing gear if you want to, I have no idea if we'll stop to use it! But bring it just in case.. or don't!

    Where:
    We will be cruising around trails in the Wills Creek Coshocton area, Rob ( @smithr1730 ) and I are coming from Hilliard which is 1&1/2 hours away. Hopefully @MeefZah will be joining us from the North and can act as something of a guide for us? If not I think he may at least come out for part of the day/lunch.

    As of this point in time let's make Dresden River Park our tentative meeting place. I envision us starting our drive by going a mile East on the 208 and turning off on Stone Church Rd and wending our way along the trails that run along and around the Muskingum River. This is only a few miles from Wills Creek Rd which we can play around on, do the power line trail, and then continue exploring to the East of 83 depending on time and people's preferences.

    When:
    On Saturday the 1st of August (I'll leave it up to all yall to figure out the year;))

    We aim to arrive at 10am so plan accordingly for your drive. I would imagine that we will head out as a group by 10:30.

    Who?:
    @WheelInTheSky
    @smithr1730
    @boondoc89
    @MeefZah
    @crazyaussie
    +hopefully more to come, :typing:I'll edit a few tags into this post for members that expressed interest in the past but haven't been active of late, we'll see who responds!:taco:

    Give me an idea who has radios/walkies so we can hopefully have either a CB or a uhf/vhf channel.

    Questions comments concerns?..
