It was a slow day at Walmart. Normally I park even further away.

Back when I was in High School when I was a senior we could "buy" parking spaces in the lot. Seniors got first choice so I bought 2 spaces because I had just bought a 87 Buick Grand National. I bought 2 spaces so I wouldn't get door dinged. There was plenty of parking so it wasn't a inconvenience to anyone but it allowed me space so no one could park by me. Dick move on my part but that was my baby and I didn't want it fucked with. I bought the spaces at the far end of the lot so the rest could get the close spaces.

That's gonna be my main bargaining chip when it comes time for some sliders.

"But babe, it'll protect against door dings and act as a step for you! I see no reason NOT to get some."

itll prevent everything except larger trucks since they tend to sit higher as of right now (stock suspension) but it does help

    NOT YET
Agreed. I don't use one of those even though with my current medical conditions I should. I would rather work a little harder and build up a little more stamina.

Ok, I want to see how many people here agree with me.

People who park inconsiderately make me livid. Especially in areas where parking is not free. At my university parking per year is about $300 for the cheapest spots (some colleges are worse). This one Highlander always used to park me in, in the garage. I would have to enter my truck from the passenger side to get in that's how bad it was.
Now, I'm normally a very nice guy. I really am. I don't like confrontation and don't like stirring the pot. BUT about the 5th time this person parks me in and I have to climb over my passenger seat to get in, I end up tweaking a hamstring injury that I've been rehabbing for over a year at that point. I about lost it. I backed up, realized I didn't want to damage my car by ramming hers (yeah I'm assuming it's a woman). So I get my tire iron out and I'm about ready to wipe off a mirror. I ended up just walking away. Although I do regret not doing it.

I feel like there should be a rule/law that if you don't park between the idiot proof lines, I can do what ever I want to you car and it's ok. You can't press charges. Don't park like a fucking dick and you won't get your car trashed.
I feel the same about people who litter. I see you throw shit out your window and I get to ram you off the road or cut off a finger.

Obviously I feel very strongly about this lol but has anyone actually retaliated against people who do these things?

For those of you who like Karma, she ended up doing it again and I wailed my truck door into the side of her car as hard as I could.

Those fucking highlanders are built like a tank. I still have a fucked up door panel.

You need to calm down.. your asshole attitude was your instant karma back on you with your messed up door.
If it was such an issue can you not back backwards or have a new spot issued?

Or better yet leave a note....o_O

We don't have specific spots, just pay to park in the garage. She would also come in after I did so it isn't like I could always avoid her next to me.

I didn't do a note because then they think the person who takes my spot was the one that left it. Same could have happened with the damage I guess. Notes also have no impact on people who don't give a crap about anyone else but themselves. Lets face it.
It's also clear that at the time I would be too enraged to write a note that wouldn't be used as evidence for harassment/threats lol. You get more bees with honey and all I had to offer on a note was spoiled vinegar.

In the end those people don't care. A note won't phase em.

considering anyone with a pulse can get a driver license now and half of them dont bother and drive anyways.. thats most likely the issue...

I have never parked like anything seen in this thread.. maybe because I actually pay attention to my surroundings?

So a smashed door and almost a broken mirror was your solution.. noted.. you are the asshole in the situation for trying to damage their property. they are a bad driver but im sure not doing it to be vindictive, maybe they are fat or injured so they leave more room on their drivers side to get out..
