Keakar! Have you lost it??? She can't get an '05 runner!!?? Its the second gen equivalent! Dude, that's the dark side. She must stay true to the mini truck and third gen runners.

What the shit guys!?!? We can't let Erik win and make jen have to fix that lil red old used up civic! And not get a new taco or runner....right!? By not speaking up and letting Erik know "no way jose" we are doing Jen a huge disservice and letting down Tacoma owners across this nation and beyond!! ..... Or maybe its good for us Tacoma owners, more tacos for us! Haha

lol, oops, just looking at the miles and price, wasn't paying attention to year but the years on 4runners are different. I think 02 was the last 3rd gen 4runners, the 3rd gens run (I believe) from 95-02

Looks awesome buddy, nice work!!

Can you come do that at our house next? The jackass that lived here before us didn't stagger the boards - they are all 12' long, and they all meet at one long seam together in the middle. :facepalm:Plus after 10 years of us and dogs and Oregon rain trampling on them constantly, they are pretty damn worn/crappy looking.

You should build an arbor over a portion of your deck!!! Then you could use the $25 mister on hot days!! I am seriously in love with that thing. If it's really hot, just park a lounge chair under it and :D Otherwise, you can use it just like they do in a produce dept. or flower nursery, where it continually mists your plants!!! I line all my flowerpots up underneath it next to my lounge chairs, then I get to be surrounded by pretty flowers when I sit there, and never have to stand there watering - the mister does it all!! Do it, arbors are so much fun!! And pretty too! First thing we built when we moved into this house!!

ok Jen, here is the solution,

step 1 fill two gallon jugs of gas and put it in the trunk of the civic.

step 2 park the civic far away from the house and taco and off to the side somewhere (if asked say its to wash it or something)

step 3 put a pie or something good in front of eric to distract him

step 4 say you are taking out the trash, dump the 2 gallons of gas in the civic and throw a match in it.

step 5 walk inside quietly and say nothing, quickly wash away any gas smell on your hands, let eric find the car ablaze.

step 6 act surprised and suggest it must have been a fuel leak that caused it.

now just act sad and upset that its gone and pretend you miss it.

Ha!!! Wow, thanks for feeling so strongly about my Civic dilemma!!!

I'm right there with ya, as far as feeling strongly that it is a TERRIBLE idea to fix it.

I admit, I've had a few moments of weakness where spending a LITTLE to keep it going a LITTLE longer almost seemed like a good idea, but then when I really look back at our history and just know how things go, it would never happen like that. Spending a little would quickly turn into fixing everything mechanically wrong with it, which could easily go up to $500-1K, and that would be some kind of stupidity crime that we should be sent to jail for!!!

So, Eric and I will keep battling it out. Don't worry too much though - I will win :duel: in the end if I really push hard enough :D And I will :D

Ya know how there's a "like" button on other people's comments?

I wish there was an "I FUCKING LOVE THIS COMMENT SO MUCH I WANT TO MARRY IT" button :D

Excellent idea Keak!! Although now that it's on the internet, thinking I may not want to attempt this in light of insurance fraud and arson and all that fun stuff :D

your safe, that's only if you file an insurance claim for damages, I this case I don't think your filing an insurance claim over a $5 car lol,

if all else fails blame it on the squirrels did it

OK, totally random question - anyone know where the cabin air filter is in a 98 Taco? Does it have one? I keep seeing all these thing about how you should "change your cabin air filter" during all of our various mechanic/dealer stops recently. Anyone done this before? Are they expensive? Easy/hard to get to? Would be nice to do some basic (AKA cheap/easy) stuff to spruce up the air quality in the Taco, now that I am a NON SMOKER FOREVER :humble::humble::humble::humble::humble:
