Could try meeting in Santa Clarita/Castaic Junction or Van Nuys area; I've done that before. More convenient for coming from santa barbara. Still quite the trip out to I-5 from SB, though!

I'm drinking Batch 138 right now, and it was opened by a Knee Deep 50cal beer opener :p

Thanks for the offer, but yeah, seems like a bit of a stretch. I will keep in mind, so far seller hasn't replied.

WOW, Solano county just increased their charges for water billing. Even though as a county we have cut back 30%.

Haha that is what our water district did. They sent a letter saying how well we have cut back, but because of the cut backs they are raising our rates. WTF, I understand the reasoning, but still annoying.

its typical CA politics. So ridiculous. They fine us if we use too much and then we cut back like requested and they charge more.

    Stupid.

Also, districts that don't have enough water to satisfy demand will need to buy water transfers from willing districts who do have more water and can sell it and convey it to another area, or if they can't convery it directly, arrange a more complex transfer with other districts who can.

Guess what? Supply and demand...seller's market.

Stress is good for grapes, though. So switch from beer to wine.

That's typical. They tell you to cut back, then realize the income from water charges has dropped. To compensate for the loss in revenue they have to charge you more. That happened to us in the East Bay a couple years ago.

I like that drinking beer part. Especially the part where you're drinking beer. Wish I could. Only have Saturday available. How far is the drive?

Hey, I live up the hill so the they charge me a Level 3 pumping fee for my water. But do they compensate me for the fact that my sewer line runs downhill? Of course not.

So you are firing high-velocity shitballs downhill at them...how would you feel?

But seriously, gravity feed does not require pump power and associated cost.

Naturally. My dad the pipe fitter once told me the only two things you needed to know to be a plumber was that pay day was on Friday and shit runs downhill. Still, with the gradient from my house there are less issues with sewer, hence, less cost to the City. I want compensation for the extra fee to get my water!!! I know it'll never happen, I just like to bitch.

I don't blame you. I don't smoke or drink gallons of soda, so my healthcare should be cheaper, but noooooooooooo.....
