I'm going to step outside of "my box" this time on my protein powder. I'm gonna stick with ON gold standard but I'm wanting to try a different flavor. I've always bought the extreme milk chocolate. I've tried cookies n cream in MP Combat, and Chocolate fudge brownie in Dymatize Elite XT. A guy here at work says he likes vanilla. What would be a good flavor besides chocolate all the time.

AS you probably know, I'm an ON whore. I always get extreme milk chocolate, but I got banana cream last time and it's SOOOOOO good. It's like a banana flavored laffy taffy.

 

Yeah, you've always steered me in the right direction (well, except for your weekends bombing your cut) jk. ON does make some great products, just wanting to switch up this time to see what else is out there.

 

Banana cream is amazing. I mix mine with milk and a frozen banana and it tastes like a milkshake.

Been listening to a few of these on the way to work. A lot of them go into the mental aspect of lifting and the carryover to life.

It's not a podcast, but CT Fletcher has an app where he has audio of him talking during workouts. Personally, I think it's annoying as fuck, but some people like it. It's pretty much an hour of him doing this:

I'm not big into podcasts, but my cousin is always playing me clips from Joe Rogan's podcast. He talks about lifting, MMA, and a world of other things; it's really entertaining/funny/enlightening/etc. Joe Rogan is a smart dude.

I have listened to a few episodes of the Chive's podcast, although it's just comedy and not gym-related at all.

I think it was Ronnie Coleman but a few weeks out from one of his olympias, someone asked him if he changed his diet because his midsection was tighter. His explanation: his trainer started making him wear his weight belt every day in the gym for every exercise. Guess he saw that video maybe?

 

I have seen and heard this so many times its crazy. Even from guys that are experienced and in pretty solid shape. I don't buy it. Its funny, i have a belt and never use it. I guess I'm just so used to not using it that it feels odd and gives me weird pains haha

 

I've never used a belt even when pulling 5 plates...just never felt the need. one time some fat guy in the gym had his on so tight he couldn't get it off and had to ask me for help. What a scene that was, me pulling on the slack end one way and him trying to get the hooks out the holes. I swore I'd never wear a belt after that incident lol.
